According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
Terry McWallace Bishop, 54, of 1753 Moores Ferry Rd. in Plainville, was charged with probation violation.
Nicole Marie Delawder, 32, of 210 Coosawattee Ave. in Rome, was charged with giving false name or address to law enforcement officers.
Danny Reid Gordon, 62, of 2209 Calhoun Rd. in Rome, was charged with simple battery.
Charles Shelton Luther, 27, of 508 Brice Station Rd. in Silver Creek, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
Adam Herbert Miller, 30, of 565 1st St. in Shannon, was charged with burglary and theft by taking.
Claudia Jane Shiflett, 55, of 758 McGhee Bend Rd. in Cave Spring, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
