The student-produced Berry College Farmer’s Market, which includes Rome community vendors, will be this Saturday (July 14) from 7 a.m-1 p.m. at Berry College.
Berry student-operated enterprises will be showcasing their products at the market. These items include potted plants from Season’s Harvest, herbs from Martha’s Herbs, cheese from the Berry dairy cows by the Jersey Milk Enterprise, hand-made crafts from Viking Creations and more.
Vendors from the Rome community will offer home-canned vegetables, jams and jellies, bath and beauty products, wood working items, and baked goods. And from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Berry Farms Angus Beef enterprise will sell cooked burgers for lunch.
“We are looking forward to this year’s summer market and are continuing to support the Berry student operated enterprises as well as the Rome community vendors,” said senior Shannon Soafer, co-chair of the market.
