According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:

Chad Monroe Copeland, 33, of 6034 Martha Berry Blvd. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.

Terance Tremayne King, 21, of 101 East 15th St. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.

Brian Collin McKinnney, 28, of 18 West Wood Cir. in Rome, was charged with 2 counts of sale of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Edward Gene Price, 57, of 2954 Riberbend Rd. in Plainville, was charged with simple battery and probation violation.

Joshua David Reece, 31, of 279 Autry Rd. in Adairsville, was charged with possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession with intent to distribute, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, exceeding maximum limits, possession of methamphetamine, and probation violation.

Carlos Jermaine Sams, 37, of 202 Willerson Rd. in Rome, was charged with 3 counts of probation violation.
