According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
Torie Shane Dougherty, 39, of 1137 Calhoun Rd. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.
Emily Louise Fowler, 28, of 830 Billy Pyle Rd. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.
Billy Frank Fuqua, 69, of 1101 Martha Berry Blvd. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.
Chad Matthew Robinson, 29, of 44 Bennett Rd. in Rockmart, was charged with 5 counts of running a red light, habitual violator, failure to yield right of way, fleeing or attempting to elude police officers, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, and drugs to be kept in original container.
Mary Ellen Rogers, 35, of 512 Charlton Rd. in Rome, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
Andrew Steven Silvey, 30, of 717 Trove Dr. in Rome, was charged with aggravated assault, false imprisonment, making terroristic threats and acts, and probation violation.
