According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
Cody James Dawson, 20, of 2315 Morgan Valley Rd. in Rockmart, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
Miranda Agnus Earwood, 32, of 144 Beard Lake Rd. in Rome, was charged with parole violation.
Brian Steven Fike, 35, of 2333 Kingston Rd. in Rome, was charged with failure to appear.
Amanda Lee Turner, 25, of 5 Ken Court in Rome, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to appear, giving false name or address to law enforcement officers, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drugs across guard-line, and parole violation.
