Deschamps to sign Buried Demons

The Last Stop Gift Shop will host a public book signing on Thursday June 28 to feature local authors Robert and Gail Deschamps as they sign their exciting and suspenseful novel, Buried Demons.
The book signing will take place from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Last Stop Gift Shop. The event is free and sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB).
This event gives locals a chance to meet the author, ask questions, and learn the inspirations of the book. Copies of Buried Demons will be available for purchase, and refreshments will be provided.
Buried Demons is a psychic mystery-thriller that follows the life of Cassandra Gautier. After granted a power to foresee the future and the past, Cassandra finds herself forced in situations that she wants to avoid but can not seem to escape. Soon, it becomes apparent that her life and the lives of the people that she loves are in danger.
This story is known for pulling each reader in and making them feel like they’re a part of the process of unraveling a masterful mystery.
The Deschamps live in Rome, Ga and collaborate together to write suspense- thrillers. They received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Rome Area Council for the Arts.
Gail has a degree in Theatre with an English minor from the University of Miami. She is a former artistic director for a national touring company, and has written several plays.
Robert was educated in France and Canada. He published for Maison’s Deschamps, but retired in 1990 to write full-time.
The Last Stop Gift Shop is located inside the Rome- Floyd Visitor Center at 402 Civic Center Drive.
