According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
Letonio Christopher Allen, 22, of 204 Nixon Ave. in Rome, was charged with probation violation.
Walter Clifford Benefield, 45, of 1667 Burnett Ferry Rd. in Rome, was charged with parole violation.
Thomas Randale Fain, 44, of 540 Herring Rd. in Armuchee, was charged with 2 counts of simple assault and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
Kalen Tajiah Hill, 23, of 6 Woodcreek Way in Rome, was charged with probation violation.
David Wayne Jones Jr, 31, of 215 Rome Hwy. in Cedartown, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
