According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
William Keith Brewton, 40, of 507 James St. in Summerville, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
Steven Paul Camp, 49, of 411 Old Bellsferry Rd. in Rome, was charged with parole violation.
Shelton Tremain Harris, 29, of 108 Malone Dr. in Rome, was charged with 2 counts of terroristic threats and acts, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, and theft by taking.
Derek Reynolds, 23, of 8 Crane Dr. in Rome, was charged with loitering or prowling.
Synetta Fushae Zachery, 41, of 518 North Division St. in Rome, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
