According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities:
Kenneth Leon Dupree, 47 of 108 Pine St. in Rome, was charged with battery.
Grady Harper Jr, 22, of 12 Davis St. in Rome, was charged with probation violation, obstruction of officers, and criminal trespassing.
Billy Joe Maynor, 44, of 118 Linden St. in Lindale, was charged with aggravated assault.
Michael Anthony Williams, 38, of 055 Horseleg Creek Rd. in Rome, was charged with failure to appear.
Tony Winell Wright, 61, of 530 3rd St. in Shannon, was charged with probation violation.
