Mobile Mammography Coach Coming to Northwest Georgia Credit Union

Northwest Georgia Credit Union has announced that it is bringing The Breast Center at Floyd’s Mobile Mammography Coach to its Redmond Road location on Friday, April 20. The community event is part of Northwest Georgia Credit Union’s PEOPLEMatter community initiative.

The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the lawn of its 1307 Redmond Road location. The event will feature digital screening mammography and breast health education, provided on-site by The Breast Center at Floyd. The screenings will take approximately 15 minutes, and Floyd will file health insurance claims. Appointments are preferred, and can be made by calling Northwest Georgia Credit Union at (706) 291-9290.

Stephanie Graves, director of marketing for the credit union, explains why the credit union is hosting this event. “As a financial cooperative that is committed to living out the generous spirit of the credit union industry, Northwest Georgia Credit Union is driven by the credit union motto of “People Helping People” to actively enrich the lives of people in the Greater Rome community. For this reason, we are dedicated to a focused mission of giving back to those who support us through our PEOPLEMatter initiative. Through charitable donations, sponsorships, community initiatives, and employee volunteerism, NWGACU passionately seeks opportunities that focus on the causes that matter to our members, Sponsor Employee Groups, employees, and volunteers. These causes are local education, financial literacy, children, and health.”

The event is open to the public. For more information, visit www.nwgacu.org.
