Felony Arrest Report: Monday, May 16, 2011

According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities and charged with at least one felony crime:
 
Timothy Dwight Edge, 51, of 1307 Cave Spring Rd. in Rome, was arrested at 2:00 p.m. Monday by the Floyd County Police Department and was charged with felony false imprisonment. Edge remained in jail Monday night.
 
James Brick Edwards, 23, of 1521 Little Texas Valley Rd. in Rome, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Monday by the Floyd County Police Department and was charged with felony parole violation, misdemeanor possession of drug related objects, misdemeanor simple assault, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Edwards remained in jail Monday night. No picture is available at this time.
 
Jacob Leif Hammett, 18, of 628 Old Rockmart Rd. in Silver Creek, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. Monday by the Floyd County Police Department and was charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor criminal trespassing, misdemeanor obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, misdemeanor interference with a 911 call, and misdemeanor probation violation. Hammett remained in jail Monday night. No picture is available at this time.
 
Mark Allen Salmon Jr, 20, of 2812 Maple Rd. in Rome, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Monday by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with felony probation violation, and misdemeanor probation violation. Salmon remained in jail Monday night.
 
Grady Allen Williams, 43, of 628 Old Rockmart Rd. in Silver Creek, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Monday by the Floyd County Police Department and was charged with felony aggravated assault and felony terroristic threats and acts. Williams remained in jail Monday night. No picture is available at this time.
